Clarion Corporation of America announced the hiring of a new Product Training Manager. Clarion also promoted a member of the company's tech support staff to the position of National Product Trainer.
New to the company is Charles Thompson, who will now serve as Clarion's Product Training Manager. Thompson, whose eight-year career in the mobile electronics industry includes stints with Circuit City, Micro Alarms, Kenwood, and, most recently, Alpine, will be responsible for the day-to-day activities within Clarion's Tech Support Department. He will also oversee Clarion's national product training efforts.
Acting as Clarion's new National Trainer is Albert Vicencio, who has spent more than five years providing tech support to Clarion's authorized retailers. In his new role, Vicencio, who conducted much of Clarion's product training in 2004, is expected to spend more time in the field instructing installers, salespeople, and rep firms about Clarion's product line.
"We are very excited to have Charles on the team and be able to recognize Albert's dedication and commitment to Clarion," said Steve Dean, Director of Human Resources at Clarion. "Charles' experience in the 12-volt industry will definitely benefit Clarion in the coming years. Also, Albert's stellar reputation in the field and his extensive knowledge of Clarion's products make him the perfect choice for National Trainer," added Dean. www.clarion.com
