Maxxsonics reports that in its first season on the SPL competition circuit Team Maxxsonics, the newest SPL competitors on the scene, has been a roaring success.

By mid season, the end of August 2005, Team Maxxsonics has accumulated 75 first-place, 21 second-place, and 13 third place trophies. Among its honors captured earlier this season, Team Maxxsonics, members Charles Estes and Jay Odom set two new World Records using Hifonics Generation XX Amplifiers at SBN.

“Team Maxxsonics members have shown a competitive spirit second to none. We are very proud of this group of young men and women’s accomplishments,” states CEO Alden Stiefel. “Team Maxxsonics members prove there is a responsible, constructive, and fun way to enjoy these mega-watts car audio systems”

This is the first year that Maxxsonics USA has opened its doors to sponsor an SPL team.

John Studley, Maxxsonics director of Product Development is the originator of the unique Team Maxxsonics competitor model. His goal was to have the team members compete freely without minimum attendance requirements and without the obligations commonly handed down by other sponsors.

Maxxsonics USA will be exhibiting for the first time at the 2005 dB Drag World Finals, held in Cleveland, Ohio, October 7-9. Mike Stiers, Captain of Team Maxxsonics who aptly oversaw the progress of the team, anticipates more than a dozen team members to qualify for participation in the dB Drag World Finals event. At the dB Drag World Finals, several Team Maxxsonics contestants will be using the newest Autotek and Hifonics mega-watt amps, the 4-kilowatt Autotek MM 4000.1D, the 5-kilowatt XX Goliath, and the 10-kilowatt XX Maxximus.
