A CAD-designed rigid powder coated steel frame for precise motor alignment and an optimized magnet/motor structure has also been incorporated for superior reliability and performance. On July 25, 2006 PHX AP Acquisitions announced that it and Phoenix Gold Vice President Tom O’Mara had acquired Phoenix Gold International, Portland, Oregon-based parent company of renowned consumer and professional audio brands Phoenix Gold, AudioSource, and Carver.
